Couraroy Road performs live at Machiavelli's in historic downtown Bristol on Sept 23 at 9pm. Tight, tuneful Americana from an Athens, Ga., band that’s getting good notices for its new album, “Love is a War.” Singers Dylan Solise (guitar) and Drew Carman (banjo, harmonica) have a penchant for soul-stirring harmonies. And while many of The Corduroy Road’s songs have a bright and shiny feel, learned-the-hard-way lyrics on the title track and other tunes keep things from sounding too clean.
