Description
The Wreckonsos will perform at 620 State in historic downtown Bristol on June 15. The Wreckonsos, pronounced like the old Southern saying "reckon so," is a band venture made up of several of East Tennessee's more experienced musicians. With literally hundreds of shows between the members through various musical endeavors, The Wreckonsos are no strangers to the stage or the local and regional music scene. With three songwriters, Seth, Mark and Gary, the band has no shortage of original and eclectic music. With strong roots in the Southern Rock, Country Music and Folk Rock Genres, their sound can best be described as Alternative Country or Folk Rock with songwriting and vocal harmonies being the main focus point.Rare, vintage, 3-part vocal harmonies & an eclectic mix of original music gives The Wreckonsos a traditional yet modern sound of Alt. Country Music similar to the styles of pioneers in the industry such as Uncle Tupelo & Ryan Adams accompanied by the "Brother Harmonies" of Crosby, Stills & Nash.
